Who in the world do you feel most similar to?
Today's question is like stepping on a fire ant hill, bringing up a multitude of thoughts. I am a bucket of chemicals producing electrical impulses that create my world, my experiences, my interpretations of those experiences, my reasoning, and my actions. This bucket that I live in consists of a unique mixture of chemicals which ultimately produce an experience that is unique in the world. So I find it pure folly, or an otiose exercise in trying to compare, or find similarities in another entity. Because I think my primary purpose is to manifest the integrity of my mind, taking responsibility for the unique show that occurs between my ears, and be proud and confident that I am being me, living out of the integrity of this bucket, and not trying to be someone else........................ . So ultimately, I see no value in comparing and seeking similarities in another person as a validation of existence, that would be a secondhand person who gives up his being in order to be like someone else, but that is what society teaches us, isn't it? We're unwittingly taught to be selfless so that we can spend our lives looking for ourselves, playing the meaningless game of removing the "onion peel", only to have another barrier stand in the way of experiencing the joy of life.

Thanks for the thoughts. I recommend highly “The Elegant Universe” by Brian Greene. The nature of “entity” is an interesting one!
Ow! Ow! Ow! Fire ants again! You'd think the little devils would have drowned but as soon as the water recedes they are the first to rebuild. Frankly, I don't know any one else like me but I would like to, just to see how they manage. Good post!
