What is your relationship to independence?
Independence, nice word, but an extraordinarily delicious experience. As I become more intimate with independence the stronger my relationship with it becomes. I have learned to become not obsessed with things and therefore, not being possessed by things. I have also learned to avoid, at all cost, needy relationships. I have discovered that needy people and unhappy people, is a condition of their own choice and that there is nothing that I can do to change that. I will not allow people, of any sort, to suck the life out of me with their insatiable desire of needs and happiness----------------------------------------.
The more that I experience independence and experience unimaginable freedom, it becomes self generating, vanishing wants and needs. Perhaps this is a manifestation of Emerson's quote where he said: "What we love, that we have, but by desire we bereave ourselves of the love."---------------------------------
So, strictly speaking, my relationship with independence is becoming very intimate and it is the place in which I choose to reside.

Beautiful will! You have captured the spirit of true independence.
I recall the words of the Moody Blues:
“Just open your eyes, and realize the way its always been. Just open your mind and you will find the way its always been. Just open your heart, and that's a start…”
Such magnificent perfection in your words. Thank you
